Pancake Protectors Game is a collaboration between PanakeSwap and Mobox, both of which are established protocols on the BNB blockchain. The game is designed on a tower- defence game model.

One can play this game in single player mode and in multiplayer mode as well. Developers earlier this month released the beta version of the game, but after a week of testing, developers officially released the game on May 29, 2023 with the launch of season 1.

Tokenomics of the game

Pancake Protector is not a play-to-earn type of game where the player gets rewarded for their action and rewards automatically get added to their account. Instead, it is a type of game where a player spends a certain amount of CAKE to acquire various features of the game (like recruiting Cake Hero).

The player’s spent cakes are distributed in the following manner:

• 70% of the cake is returned to the user of the game as a seasonal reward.
• 12.5% of the spent Cake is burned and the other 12.5% is kept by PnacakeSwap for future development. The last 5% is given to Mobox, the co-developer of the game. 

PanCake Protector follows the 14-day season settlement system and it contains two leaderboards, one is Hero leaderboard and another is the Arena leaderboard. Both the leaderboards are settled each season and the rewards are distributed among the rankers. 

Season 1 of the game started on May 29, 2023 and lasted for 14 days, (closing on June 12, 2023). Immediately after season 1 gets over, season 2 gets started( from 4:00 UTC, June 12, 2023) and will get close on June 26, after 14 days.

Game frame

There is one city in the game known as PanCake Main City, which is surrounded by enemies all over and the player needs to protect the city from enemies. The player acts as a commander, who calls/assembles heroes from four fractions: Sun, Strom, Star and Light, and protects residents of the city. 

A player can do three free recruitments in a day, player can have a maximum of 200 Heroes with whom a player can trade in search of better heroes.

Prize to the Winner of the Game

Pancake Protector has promised to give fantastic prizes to the top rankers of either (Hero or Arena) and will distribute 10,000 CAKE to the top ranker of the season. 

Use of CAKE Token in the Game         

• Claiming CAKE heroes, allowing players to get heroes with superior attributes. 
• Unlike other games, it also contains battle passes, privilege cards and level funds. Privilege cards are exclusive to those players who purchase them using CAKE. The Battle Pass provides rewards like in-game currency, cosmetics, items, etc. 
• Players can utilise the CAKE token to purchase gift packs. 
• Players can use the CAKE token for staking in game and for earning resources in game.
